Every garden design is an opportunity to create something rare and special.

Kate works sensitively with nature and the surrounding environment, drawing out and identifying the unique opportunities that each landscape presents, marrying these with her clients’ needs, style and budget to deliver bespoke designs that are a delight to the eye and a joy to spend time in. She adopts a practical but light touch to hard landscaping features, allowing attention to be focussed on her thoughtful use of colour and texture, resulting in artistic planting schemes.

The Design Process

Kate conducts a thorough initial fact-finding consultation to establish each client’s needs and priorities plus identify any landscaping issues that need addressing in the garden.

She produces beautifully hand-drawn designs and accompanies these with a full planting scheme list and an artistic representation of the finished garden. She works with landscaping contractors to create the hard structure of the garden before bringing it to life with a wide range of carefully sourced, individually selected plants.
